STEMM Student Challenge 2022

Registrations are now open

The event combines fun and learning with an element of competition.

School teams of 4 students compete in a quiz testing their knowledge and understanding in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics, & manufacturing) subjects - practical round included. Schools may enter up to 2 teams into each division of the competition.

Dates

  • Tuesday 2nd August 2022: Primary and Intermediate Schools (Open to Hutt Valley Schools only):
    • Primary (Years 5-6) 10.00am - 11.30am - MetService Trophy
    • Intermediate (Years 7-8)  1.00pm - 2.30pm  - Callaghan Innovation Trophy
  • Wednesday 3rd August 2022: Secondary Schools (Open to Schools in Greater Wellington Region)                              In association with Capital City Science Educators (CCSE)
  •          Junior Secondary  (Years 9-10) 10.00am - 11.30am - HVDHB Trophy/CCSE Trophy
  •          Senior Secondary (Years 11-13)  1.00pm - 2.30pm  - GNS Science Trophy/VUW Trophy
